Dirt Bike Bar Q's

Which bar should I look at getting that will allow me to still mount all my controls? I don't want to get something too thick for the throttle, levers, etc. Can I mount the bar clamps to my stock triple clamp? Any and all info is greatly appreciated. I looked at Hohey's setup. But I don't really want to spend more than maybe $100 bucks for the setup.

Renthal fat bars! or another fat bar, they taper down where the controls are!!

Renthal twinwalls last forever and they used to have a lifetime warranty, not sure if they still do..

But I went threw tons of bars when I was racing MX until I switched to twinwalls and than never went threw another bar!

Re: Dirt Bike Bar Q's

what kind of bike?

on an f4i you can drill the top plate and mount dirtbike risers to it then put any 7/8" dirtbike bar on it.

I use 7/8 protaper bars on my f4i and it fits all my controls and handbrake. On a 636 with that top triple clamp i'm not sure if you would have a place to drill a hole to mount clamps to it.

That's very true, wasn't thinking about the $100 limit.

I think I paid about $300 for my twinwalls back in 01 but I still have them!! (I think there way cheaper now though)

Re: Dirt Bike Bar Q's

ya, they are around 140$ or so a set depending on where you get them.

for the kaw, i'm not sure there is room to drill for risers. The top triple is stepped so there isn't a good flat surface.
