 | DIY $2 flip up license plate bracket Went to the hardware store and got a self closing cabinet hinge for two dollars. Drilled holes and riveted on.Stays flipped up with the spring and I put some velcro on the back just incase. Pictures attached for anyone who wants to make one. |

 | Re: DIY $2 flip up license plate bracket so you have to reach back and flip it up with your hand and it stays there?? i normaly keep my plate under my seat... if anyone says anything i tell em it fell off and a car came up at the next intersection and gave it to me

| Re: DIY $2 flip up license plate bracket Ya you reach back and push it. Its spring loaded for the self closing cabinet so it goes up real easily. I usually keep it up if I am tearing the streets up but when I'm just riding around in towns where cops like to pull bikes over for everything I keep it in view cuz i know I won't be doing much. |
