GPS + RADAR/LASER Detection

When is this going to happen on the consumer market?

we have GPS devices that can tell us where we are going and traffic and food and hookers and whatnot...

so integrate the top of the line radar/laser dection devices into it. Then everyone with the same GPS software can relate to the same system and place the 5.0 on the map in your car.

Then the GPS can say something like.... "Left turn, 500 feet ahead.... Cop 300 feet ahead, slow down"

that would be the shit.

Just think, no more popo hiding out on the side of the road, down the alley.

This has to be in our future.

Re: GPS + RADAR/LASER Detection

and don't forget local weather and traffic, that's the important part, because it's always changing, so the information would have to continue changing too. while burger king info changes only when one is built or closed.

hell I'll donate to the research and developement!

but there will probably be laws against it

Re: GPS + RADAR/LASER Detection

I was just recently thinking the same thing. I have a GPS and a radar detector. I do have a display for the detector and can hear it but it would be nice if it were all one unit.
