600 or 1000 - General Sportbike Discussion

hey, I'm new to stunting, actually all I'v been doing is reading this website, and looking up stunt bikes for the past 2 weeks. I want to get into riding, but it's hard to find a cheap bike to set up for stunting. I've come across a couple 1000's though, that are either already all set up for stunting, or have just been dropped and are selling at a nice price.
Should I just buy the 1000, or wait until a 600 shows up? I'm pretty sure everyone will say 600, but I'm just making sure. maybe by some strange kink a stunt bike that's 1000cc is the same difficulty to learn on as a 600 cc.
