Anyone know if you will have to modify plastics on an 07 600rr to install 905 race rails?

Re: 905?

there is a very easy way to get the cut perfect.

take off side plastics. Use a laser level and put it in the center of the bolt hole. Then put the plastic back up and mark the whole. Cut it out with the right size hole bit and your golden.

How do you see a the lazer when its behind the plastics in the bolt hole?

All I ever did for them, was take the plastics off, let the bolt for the slider hang out of the engine, adn put the plastic back on and press it against the bolt so it leaves a mark

Re: 905?

The laser level makes it so easy to get a perfect hole. I have been doing that for years installing frame slider and cages.

Yeah its a bit out of wack. I am just pissed because I was originally going to get some made up locally but I have had my bike pulled down for a rebuild so thought the time delay in getting it posted wouldnt be a problem... yeah right!
