Can't decide....Help - General Sportbike Discussion

Im gonna trade my gixxer in for a new 600 but I can't decide between a 600rr or a zx6. Im eventually gonna stunt it and I know a new bike is not the best for that but I owe money on my gixxer so I have to trade it in and I can't find any used 636 or f4i's or even 600rr at any dealerships around here. Any input would be good. Thanks guys

14 g's. I was only payin the min payment but I got cash to knock it down... I found an 04 elec blue 636 with 4k for 6500 im gonna go look at tomarrow.

Even if I get 7k from the dealer for my bike and then pay 7k for the 636 i'll still owe 14k but i'll be on I bike I actually want. I only have a 169 a month payment so thats why i never payed it down but I have money in my savings account to knock off princple....whatever

What did you do, walk into the dealer, say "how much does that cost? Double it!" then buy it?

Btw if you pay minimum payments, you might want to look over your lease agreement.. Make sure your interest doesn't shoot to 20%+ soon.. And make sure your minimum payments wont shoot up to $400 a month..

Just curious, whats your APR? And how long is it fixed for? How many months tell it raises?

If your paying say fixed 7% apr right now, on a 14k loan, your paying out $81 a month JUST on interest..

And usually your APR raises after 3-6 years, and when it raises, it usually SHOOTS up to 20-30% interest..

So say in 3 years you still owe $10,000, at 24% interest, and your now paying $200 a month interest, and your min payment wil be something like $350+ a month

I payed like 12k for the bike bought an extended warrenty and a lowjack....Its thru HSBC on a suzuki card and after 5 years the intrest goes up to 22% from the 14% its at now. My minimum payment now is 169$ and only like 30$ goes to principle. Im just gonna do a balance transfer to another credit card that way I can get my title and sell it myself and then pay the card down that I did the balance transfer on. I don't know what i was thinking when I bought this bike, very squidly indeed

transfer the loan to a card to get the title and sell it then buy a used 600 private; the dealer is only going to put you back in the hole.
