What tire to get?!? BT014 or BT16 - General Sportbike Discussion

Hey, whats up...

Im at the point that i need a new rear tire already, Im on a 07 GSXR 1000 and put almost 10k miles on my OEM tire. Im happy with the tire but on my previous bikes i had the Bridgestone BT-012SS and was recommended the BT-014. Looking on the Bridgestone web site it looks like they have come out with a BT-016. Does anyone know anything on the BT-016??? Would it be better for basic riding than the BT-014? Does anyone know any pro or cons to either tire?

I use the bike for a commuter, 100 miles a day, Most of the time its 50 miles one way middle of the day in the heat and then 50 miles home in the middle of the night so i ride on both cold and hot asphalt. I do lots of stright line riding but like to run the curves on the weekends.

Any advice on the tires would be great!!!

i have a bt010 on my 636. i thought it was for the height.
