![]() | question on title if you bought a bike with a clean title but the original owner sold it to his sister who filled out the title but never processed it at the dmv and then sold it right back 4 days later would you have any problem at all registering it? ![]() |

![]() | Re: question on title have the original owner apply for a new title to transfer over to you. so it goes from his name to your name. or if she's the owner, have her get a ttile in her name then she can sign it over to you. do it the legit way so it doesnt come back as stolen, unpaid for, lost......etc. and they find it in your garage...... *bill of sale with the owners name and a title signed over=no problems! |

![]() | Re: question on title I waited a year before getting my title and plates. You just have to pay a late fee. If you need it quick have her make a bill of sale and she needs to apply for the title and as soon as it gets to her get it. Otherwise her brother is going to have to apply for a lost title and still take a while. If he does it get a bill of sale from him. That way if you get pulled over the owner who the bike is titled to cain't say it was stolen or under repo. |
