well these "people" were naming names and places that they were doing said bragging, first hand knowlege. if i find the article ill post it to back it up.
2nd i still find it hard to believe that team mates didnt know about dudes ripping **** off. this is exactly how **** goes.... you crash your bike and break the sub frame. ponis says, "**** man my sub is fucked, **** is going for $250 on ebay too. im gonna have to work over time for a month to pay for that ****." **** bag number 1 says "hey ponis, dont sweat it man, i got whatever parts you need man." isnt that the point of stealing bikes in the first place, to sell the parts? and who better to sell parts to, your own team mates, no questions asked.
now, you genuinly may not have known about it, im not going to argue about it, call you a liar or **** in your cheerios. i personally find it hard to believe.

you know what **** that... an old team long ago we had a guy taking bikes.... no one knew about it... it had a little thing going with an old shop, he got the bikes went to the shop he got paid.... none of new about it... we never new about it... then all these rumars started to fly about how we were all stealing bikes... couldnt figure that **** out... then he told a few of us... the **** sucks man... you have no idea what your friends are doing 24/7... just cuz you ride does not mean you are around them day and night watching every thing they do... i have put space between that guy and myself... he stopped doing that **** like 3 years ago but the rumars are still there....


ponis it sucks bro im sorry your boys did that to your team.... dont worry man people will be talking for a long time to come, just keep riding and doing your thing...

ok ill go with that. it was 1 guy on the team taking bikes to someone else shop not affiliated with the team. 1 guy can keep the **** to himself a lot easier than 3 dip ***** plus whomever else goes to their house.

You find it hard to believe cuz you dont know whats going on. I did "Buy" my parts... i bought them from ebay and from here, and spent the "$250" cuz i have a job.

The guys had a Auction license. They worked together.. which means they get bikes that have been wrecked, and repoed. Thats why no one suspected it i guess..

Im not here to defend them. What they did was wrong for sure.
But believe it or not... they did it without anyone knowing... im sure alot of people can vouch for that...

ummm, you dont get "auction" licenses. you get a dealers license, wholesalers license or a salvage license. both require that you have real property with office space, parking, etc. you cant just use your house as the "dealership". id like to know what license they had. we can look it up on the florida government web site.

 

well whatever its called... they had a legit office... actually it was a small warehouse... never seen it but i did hear about it.

 

I have to agree with Ponis. I was completely shocked to find out what was going on. Although I hung out with the team at shows and events, never once did I go to their house.

I always heard about how they had a bunch of parts and stuff....but didn't think of it like "Oh my god...they must be stealing." I just figured, three guys, in the scene...parts break....**** gets collected. Tell me one of you guys don't have a bunch of random parts laying around your garage that have just randomly wound up there?

I mean, we have a bunch of parts and stuff like that here at our house. But our ****'s all legit. It just gets collected. People have spare parts, don't wanna throw them out, "Ok, we'll take it." It happens.

It sucks that they were doing this ****. It sucks more knowing that they were nice guys. They'd go out of their way to help someone if they could, and I remember during stuntoberfest when we all went to IHOP and the guys were autographing stuff for kids in the restaurant that thought of these guys like they were rockstars. It's sad that in reality this was how they were supporting their riding. It sucks more that people like Ponis who I can honestly believe really and truly didn't know about this, have to suffer the consequences and punishment of being labeled for the actions of others.
