![]() | 99' GSXR 750 won't start. Well its been a few years since I have had a bike and I just picked up a 99 GSXR 750 tonight. When I turn the key on the light come on just fine and I get power but nothing when I hit the starter. Not even a click. I checked the fuse and it is good. It ran fine when parked and the previous owner took off all the plastics to have painted and do other cosmetic work. Does anyone have an idea before I go and buy a new started and just throw parts at it until the problem is solved? Thanks alot. Brandon |

![]() | Re: 99' GSXR 750 won't start. I put a charger on it for a bit and it still didn't do anything. Is it possible that there is enough juice to run the headlights and not turn the starter? I really appreciate the quick responce and any help you all can give me. |

![]() | Re: 99' GSXR 750 won't start. im not sure about gsxr's but my 97CBR600 f3 wont turn over unless the kill switch is turned to the on position but all the lights will come on. so before you buy the expensive parts check your kill switch and make sure it works properly . if you have a continuity tester then pull the switch apart and check both the on positions and the off . hope this helps . ,Justin |
