![]() ![]() ![]() | Ghetto question of the day Can I turn my f4i completely upside down to work on it? I already have the fuel tank off, and I've already had the bike standing on the 12 bar for over a week last time I messed with the oil pan... And I"ve had the bike sitting on its side for a week so I could take my clutch out and oil pump out.. Now I need to access the oil pan again... So basically, is a sealed battery TRUELY sealed? Can it stay upside down for days? And will my oil run out of my motor through the top? I already got the fuel tank off.. Reason being, I gotta drop my oil pan (AGAIN for the third time in less then 100 miles of riding) And I got BRAND NEW oil in the bike that has never been ran, so I don't want to drain it and waste it |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Ghetto question of the day It quit showing oil pressure for no reason I stalled a SS circle, front wheel slammed down, and it tiped over (not even a hard drop, it just tiped over cause I couldn't get my feet down in time) Picked it up, no oil pressure.. I droped the oil pan, checked to make sure the pickup was still properly installed, changed the oil filter even though it only had about 200 miles on it, changed the oil, changed the pressure sensor and gauges with my friends bike, and even pulled the oil pump to check it out.. Still no oil pressure Only one last thing to check, and thats the pressure relief valve.. Which unfortinetly is in the oil pan, so I gotta drop it again But I did read in my f4i manual, and the VERY first thing they list for 'no oil pressure' is the pressure relief valve being stuck open.. So hopefully thats my only problem! |
