eBay hacked? Don't know if this is true or not...

A friend just sent this to me because I use eBay and Paypal...thought I'd pass it on...Thankfully I'm NOT on the list

F'in hackers! I can't keep up with all the damn new passwords an log ons as it is...LOL here at work we're prompted to change passwords every so often, I already have to write that down...

all a hacker has to do is get your email account. then they send lost password requests to it. happened to me, but the idiot didnt change my email password, so i just changed all of them.

Cracks me up how people get the "you need to verify" emails and think they are fucked. Or Paypal is going to "close" your account!! People get their shit Phished all of the time... just need to be smart and not follow links through emails. If your account is fucked, then access whatever it is then go directly to their site don't follow a link from an email.

+1, I get fake emails from paypal all the time. They act like the email is from paypal to tell me that my account has been hacked, and they are wanting me to verify my account info by clicking a link and signing in. Whoever does it, as soon as the type their info, they just gave whoever access to their account

+1...as a matter a fact I had 2 emails from Paypal this morning saying I had to update my credit card info before it expired...almost forgot about that. I knew better then to click on the link and instead go to Paypal direct and log in...but I never got the chance to.

they look so offical tho thats the scary part....i got one that says order confirmed click here to pay....and it was some camera that i didn't buy off of ebay....
