f4i spark plugs, the decisions.. ugh
what friggin spark plugs should I get for my f4i and my friends?
imr9a-9h or imr9c-9h from NGK is what I keep getting from everyone...
On the net they say IMR9c-9H honda dealer says IMR9A-9H
I can get a good deal on IMR9A-9H, much better then any other plug
also whats the denzo's or whatever that come stock, anyone know if they are good and whats the part number?
Trying to order the right part.. My friend keeps aruing with me that I can get some plugs for $2 at advanced auto... Whereas I keep telling him f4i's need 'special' plugs as thats what i've heard

Put the IMR9's in. Whichever they have will do. They aren't cheap.

Re: f4i spark plugs, the decisions.. ugh
i've NEVER changed them on my 24k mile 2004 f4i, and my friend has never changed his on his 03 12k mile f4i
My f4i runs like dog **** under 4k, bogs like crazy
Figure I need some plugs, valve adjustment, and possibly sync the throttle bodies see if I can get it running better
edit: I imagine, since these bikes are FI, peolpe assume you don't need plugs.. ON a carbed bike I always change em at LEAST once a year.. but on FI I never thought about it

Get really good ones for yours and the cheapest ones for your friends. Then see if you can tell a difference between them

HEY. Did you ever figured out what caused your bogging under 4k rpm that's exactly what my bike is doing. It only boggs under 4k runs perfect above 4k. I bought a new fuel pressure regulator gonna swap it out on Tuesday when the part comes in. Gonna check the fuel pump and filter since my tank is dented so may have a Crack in it. But I don't know what other problems could cause this. Any help would be great
