hey, i have a friend that wrecked pretty hard today...and the rest of us are trying to get his bike fixed up as kind of a "get well soon" present and i was wondering if there is anywhere in particular that we can get some plastics and some other '02 gsxr 1000 parts for cheap...he's not really a stunter so we gotta find some minty parts....any help would be appreciated....

Mint parts = $$$$$$$. Stunter parts are about the only thing that can be cheap sometimes.

DOES HE NEED ANYTHING BESIDES PLASTICS?

CUZ I GOTTA LOT OF JUNK LAYING AROUND

 

ok we took the thing apart to see what all it needs...we gotta have an upper fairing,fairing stay,intake tubes,left side plastic,left side mirror,sub-frame,all rear plastics (except we're gonna spring for him a nice undertail kit)and the rest we're gonna prolly go retail on...we only need sorta minty parts,color dosn't matter and small scratches don't either as long as all the tabs are ok and there arn't any huge non-repairable rashes and no breaks or cracks...
i appreciate all the help with this...i've never had to search for plastics or anything, my war machine is held into existence by zip ties

 

looks like he'll be getting out of the hospital by this weekend...no broken bones just some twist's scrapes and bruises....proof that wearing a helment is a good thing
