| 600rr parts swaping 929 ? I know alot of people go after 929 forks to put on their F4i's, but I have an '04 600rr that I want to beat up, and was just wondering what kind of parts will be compatible, and what is a good idea. -will 929 forks go on an '04 600rr (would you need new wheels?) how bout the '05 600rr inverted forks (new wheels again??) is it worth it? I was also thinking about putting the '05 front end on the '04 race bike I have, but I know '05 and '06 used a different frame, but not THAT different, I wonder if the new inverted forks and wheels would be ok to put on it, and if it would be that much more benificial. Any Ideas on part swapping between the '03/'04 600rr and anything else. '05/'06 600rrs/ 929/954/1000rr... i would be interested to hear about. |

| Re: 600rr parts swaping 929 ? the 05 06 has radial mount calipers but the rotors are exactly the same ... and yea we made a bracket for the fender because it was all the bike needed to be 100% done so i just cut two peices of 1/4 by 1 inch steel and drilled 4 holes in each one two for the fender to bolt to and two to bolt to the forks ....it was a little over kill strenght wise but it's what i had here... |
