removing the exhaust valve on 929

is there any way to just keep it full open? the exhaust valve deal on my stock pipe for my stunt bike is making the throttle choppy. It's fine on my bike with the full stainless D&D but the throttle is choppy and not smooth on my stunt bike with stock exhaust and i think this is why. can i just take the cables off and jb weld this valve fully open?
what does everyone else do with it?

thanks

What are are the exact symtoms???

And when does it do it???
Like engine rpm, throttle position, how the throttle is opened(fast or slow)

Are there any red light blinks (engine trouble codes) on the instrument panel???

well, my yellow 929 wheni clutch it at 1000rpm it comes up smooth and controled.

when i clutch my erion up it's not very smooth and comes up weird like....it also comes up sideways which i think is caused by the tire (that has 4700 miles). the throttle control is just relaly hard on this one, it's really really touchy and not very smooth curve.

i'm going to change the tire tomorrow nad maybe that will remedy the problem.

If anything, the HTEV valve should make low RPM wheelies easier. The concept is that it restricts exhaust flow based on RPM and throttle position. At low RPMs, it restricts more flow making more torque.

Torque is what makes you wheelie, not HP. HP is just how fast you use that torque.

Also, I'd wager to bet that the stock 929 headers are better performanec wise than D&D headers. D&D makes exhausts to be loud, and only loud. I doubt they have any performance R&D in their full systems.
