help with tl1000r race bike

i have a racebike its an 00 tl1000r, i want to take the ignition switch off and use just a flip switch

i have read the wireing diagrams and setup the switch correctly..however the fuel pump wont turn on, is there a way to bypass that? ive heard that this is a security feature if you try to bypass the ignition switch...can someone help me figure this out? i also have a wireing diagram i can take a picture of

Run a power lead from the power lead of the ON side of the switch to the fuel pump. Problem solved.
