Re: Striped Screw In Stator Cover

I tightened all the rest of them and i put oil in it and and came running out on stator cover side. i would say it had about a 2mm gap inclosing of it and i put oil in it which was stupid. i put silicone on the stator cover and gasket then for got to put it on the other side of the gasket so i screwed up there also. do u think i could pull out the screw that i striped?

Re: Striped Screw In Stator Cover

nevermind the helicoil, you'll need to drill a small hole in the bolt then use an ez-out

Re: Striped Screw In Stator Cover

oooo..you didnt strip it..you broke it off...yea you gotta get a tiny drill bit....and make sure you drill as best you can in the center of the bolt...then buy a tiny ease out and be real easy on it trying to break it loose..once its looks its cake
