| 99 R6 question emergency! ok my roomie just got a 99 r6 and it was wrecked the first day. he cracked the stator and we had to replace it. i replaced it and put fluids back in and everything SEEMS to be connected but when we turn the key it wont even try to start. it reads on his guages "Lo" what could be the problem?? he needs it running asap for work. thanks guys my brain is fried.

| "Lo" is the temperature. It displays "Lo" until the temp reaches 100*F. Was the wire that connects to the inside of the stator cover connected back onto the harness? The stator is an integral part of the charging system... maybe he just has an almost dead battery? Can you bump start it or jump start it? |
