acciden

allright i don't know how many of yall have noticed me on stuntlife, not that much of a stunter yet, but here's the story ive been worried about my minty 06 636 so i decided to stunt me 100xr. but today i was riding in middleburg va. never even been out that far west but whatever so i'm kneedragging lik i do and something happened yadda yadda yadda and i lowside a turn at about 85. i slid through dirt which is what i think saved me from any road rash just got a big ass bump on my left leg and a big bruise on my left shoulder, my bike mechanically is pretty much all intact shift lever broken low beam housing broken and upper fairing cracked to shit all the left side fairings cracke and the tail fairing is scratched really bad gas got hundreds of scratches and a dent in the tank, so now i'm thinking buy plastics fix it up hmmmmmmmmm not to sure crash cage streetfighter and stunt that ***** sounds a lot better plus cheaper for now. My question is to keep it street legal i think that in va i need turn signals on the front, so how would i go about setting it up to stunt and still maintaining it street legal plus i still want to hit twisties maybe not.because acerbis headlight from hai doesn't have turn signals.

Re: acciden

Don't know about Va but here in Az 90% of the Harleys don't have signals. So why should a streetbike have to use them. I use arms signal and the cops have been right behind me and they were cool.

Re: acciden

sorry about that homie,
Im a VA inspector, heres what the law is, but most inspectors not only dont know the law about bikes, they dont bother enforcing it (unless you take it to a bike dealr)

Headlamps. must be of an approved type IE must have either DOT or SAE stamped on the lens. must function HI and low beam

turn signals. NOT required, but if installed must function.

1 mirror is required

I THINK acerbis has a DOT and a non DOT model out there. I think the 55watt one is the legal one

Re: acciden

if you wanna make a quick and dirty rear view, find a nut that fits an aftermarket mirror and weld it into the left clip on where the bar end would have gone
