Anybody ever try putting a 929 tail on a 94 900rr? My stock 94 tail section is garbage and my aftermarket Airtech tail is crunchy as hell now too. I heard if I update to a newer subframe that I could get a 98-99 tail section to fit.

 

I don't know about the 929 fairings, However you can bolt on a tail section (Fairings) from 93-99 on that 94 with no modifications.

 

93-99 sub frames have the same mount positions. YOu have to change yout tail light and bracket also, but it all bolts up

 

Sweet, like I said I've got a solo race tail now, and I've got all 99 plastics so I'd like to update the tail section right away so i can have a passenger. Thanks for the info

 

I put race tail on so the ole lady couldn't ride with me any more.
i like dragging my knees an can't do that with her screaming at me to slow down.lol
