honda 954

I have been riding on an off for about eight years an looking to get a new bike, I am just getting into the stunnin bit and want to get veiw on a new bike I like the honda 954 and was wondering if it is as good a bike as an earlier model 900rr or a 929rr I have never riden any of the honda 900s but I hear a lot of good veiws.

I ride an r6 now and looking to move up is this a good choice? or should I go with n older model honda 929? the price and the parts won't matter as much just want to get some good views from the pros?

954

my boy had a 929 and he was real good doing wheelies .when he got the 954 it was the same story .the only thing he said that you got to be careful cuz the bike is light. i rode it a few times .for me it's a good stuntbike

i have A 954 and its tight. but im selling it. its to new and pretty for me to stunt. i feel guilty wrecking a new bike thats never been down. ive done a few stoppies on it and its soooo easy to do them on. alot easier then my old R1 and definately better then my gsxr 1000. but everyone is different and have different preferances. you just have to get out and pratice on what ever you end up riding.

Paluka,
I did the same thing that you can considering doing.
I went from a 1999 R6 to a 2002 954RR and I love it.
On the R6, I just started stuntin' and then the front wheel cracked and I crashed.
I wanted something bigger and I almost bought the Erion edition 929, but when I rode my buddies 929 it felt suggish. Then Honda released info on the '54 and I fell in love.
I am now able to do standups in second and also some stoppie(not my favorite).
I would highly recommend that you get the 954 because you love it.

Late,
954john

Dan
or anyone with the 954. I am having a problem with my tranny i think. The last few times i have done any long wheelies shifting through the gears I have had it get hung up between 4th and 5th and 5th and 6th. This last time it hung up between 4th and 5th it came crashing down and blew the seals. I just want to know if anyone else is having this problem or if its me, maybe my shift foot is getting lazy. It doesnt do it unless the front wheel is in the air.
