Thumbs up

Replace the battery and you should have no problems after that. I had the same thing happen to mine. Mine would stay running for 1-2 days and just die. So I thought there was a problem with the charging system. They checked it and it ended up being the battery. I bought a new battery at the dealership and the guy said he checked the battery and said it was fully charged. Turns out he gave me an uncharged battery.

get a repair manual and a 15 dollar voltmeter-cause either you have a bad connection or wiring or bad hardware(stator, rectifier, batt.)

i thought that bike was for sale? lol

I would say stator also check for a short like right where the stator wires come outa the cover and up to the plug! your voltage is at 11 to 13 volts! you can visually see if the stator is bad if it is brown looking in color in any part of it! and just for future reference you can you an 900 stator in a 929! but you have to change the plugs!

Go to your local shop, and get a "Dyna Electrometer", I think it's called. It's this little square box, about the size of a book of matches, with three lights in it. One for overcharge, one for correct, and one for undercharge. This will tell you a few things.
1.) if your connection is good, and you're charging
2.) if the battery is dead

Is the bike running fine, just won't start when you shut it off?
