I keep seeing it on bikes, but mine doesnt have one...what does it do?!

It flips the lights from low to high beem. Totally un nessary feature on the americanized bikes. It originated in Germany.

I always thought it was for racers who ride their bike to the track. Flash the lights tot he guy ahead of you to let him know your there. Could also be used on the street, to flash someone in the opposing lane, letting them know your there.

If you ever ride in Dallas... You'll learn the reason for them REAL quick...
My RR doesn't have them. but if it did. I'd be usin them ALL the time.
People start to pull out in front of you... signal to move over when your right next to them... etc.
They are a god-sent if you drive around moron's like there are down here.
