Update 08

I just bought 2 brandedy new Dirt Tires for the TTR... All I need is a damn from rim for the 600rr and I'm golden boy for 08!

you guys ready to rock? I've been so out of the game. I'm so glad I only have 2 toys this year, so maybe I can spend time riding them, rather than fixing them forever.

Whats the update with the rest of ya's? Josh whats the werd? you got any dirt toys we can go hit some trails with? maybe just a screw around session with them...

New spot? any place the VIP's can ride at these days? Red Bull is overrun by newbie Squid wannabees... Actually maybe thats why I keep seing Josh there.. haha. newbie..

lets get grounded with all this BS and figure something out.... once again..

catch you guys lata,

JRod out!:YEAH

Re: Update 08

There are newbie squid wannabe's in VT?

I'll be there around the 24th or the 25th and will probably stay until June 1.

I've talked to a few people back home who wanna hit the Notch road and do some corners, but I'm always down to ride lots too.

Re: Update 08

Hey Guys....

This year is off to a slow start already....I need a few parts changed over on my Z before I actually will enjoy riding it.

They are re-paving the road in front of my house, and for some unknown reason they find it necessary to send a water truck back and forth all day so the road is nothing but mud, which really turns me off of riding my bike on it...lol. I'm hoping that they put pavement back down on it soon, but they are saying they won't be finished until late september...I'm hoping at least one layer goes down right off though otherwise I'm going to go GTA4 on the Water Truck.

Though going for a ride with you guys later this month would be well worth braving the mud.

I'm also down for filming whoever and whenever....I'm down here in B-town area 5 days a week and willing to meet up after work.

I'm bringing the streeter but don't know about the 250F... you should put a clutch in the EX though... and I'll bring the beer.

He hasn't ridden bikes for like 20 years and his last one was a honda CB550 so lets just say this one is a bit different.

Re: Update 08

Hazen I think you curse me every time you plan a trip up here. My clutch is gone in my Gixxer. It's going to the shop this week but they probably won't be able to get to it this week.

People are telling me to change it out myself but man I'm horrible at that crap.

Anyway...that's that

Re: Update 08

Wow... awesome.

Are shops up there seriously SO busy that they can't squeeze in a 1 hour clutch job? Parts should only take a couple days.... that sucks.

Well I'll be there until like June 1st but I have weddings to go to both weekends...

I should have the parts tomorrow, and it looks like I've got a guy that is going to help me put it in.

I'm not sure about the other shops, but the one I generally go to normally would be able to help me out but this weekend is opening weekend at Rider hill so they have been swamped with doing stuff for the racers. My bike is there right now having a front tire put on it, but he said that there was unfortunately no way they could get a chance to do the clutch.

Hopefully it will be in and operational this weekend, but if you got stuff to do both weekends then I guess I might be rushing to get it done for nothing....LOL.
