Re: pics of the everyones 50s

I just picked up this 1982 XR50 for my boys (which my 11yr old nephew just crashed and dislocated + broke his hip on).

How are you guys stuntin these out w/o a clutch?

can i get a "must have list" for this thing?

Thanks

You dont need a clutch to make whoolies on a 50. Just sit on the very back of the seat a give it hell.

Just depends on how much money ur trying to dump into it. Before you know it, u can have a couple grand dumped into it, LoL

Mine has.....

Complete BBR front end (bars, triple clamp, sp5 forks, etc)
50 stunt rear stunt pegs
50 stunt 12 bar
50 stunt advance rear hand brake setup
50 stunt rear sprocket protector
I-shock rear suspension
Kickstand off a crf70 (because my suspension makes my bike taller)
Foot pegs off a crf70, they are wider for big feet
BBR skid plate
Uni air filter
Sick 50's plastics

To give u a hint on how quick u spend money on it. My BBR complete front end was about $600 and my I-shock rear suspension was about $300.........So just with that, its about $900 thrown off into a damn crf50, LoL...=-)

Re: pics of the everyones 50s

Did i miss something, i thought all 50's had a clutch...Oh wait he meant a hand clutch, haha

Yeah honestly u do need a hand clutch on a 50. But most people dont have one, because they feel there is no need for one...=-)

They think that since they can wheelie a 50, then they should be able to wheelie the big bike and it be about the same. Except they forgot the part where u had to slip the clutch (with ur hand) and then instantly find the rear HB with that same hand afterwards, LoL..........Having BOTH of those on a 50 will make your life alot better when it comes to the big bike for sure....=-)
