![]() | one question? are all Heavy duty shock springs the same size? and are the shock springs suppose to slide over the fork extenders? |

![]() | Re: one question? Shock springs are for the rear shock and HD fork springs are for the forks. No. They are pinned to the top of the extender. I have the Two Bros. springs and Red Baron Fork Kit. Works great, but kind of stiff. |

![]() | Re: one question? I used rubber jaw covers on my bench vise and clamped the black plastic donut in. (BUT DO NOT CLAMP IT TIGHT) just enough to keep it from spinning. Then use a small pin punch to tap it out. Then you can take it all apart. Clamp the springs in a vise and unscrew the ends off. Install those on your new springs and reverse of disassembly. ![]() |
