Description:

Up for sale is a 1998 Honda CBR 600 F3 street fighter. I purchased this bike in May of 06' from a gentleman who claimed he had an old lady pull out in front of him which caused him to lay the bike down, breaking most of the plastics. I have no idea how much truth is to that story, but here's what I do know. The bike is completely straight. Drives straight, brakes properly, and starts everytime!
When I purchased the bike it had a broken clip on and no plastics. Other than that, it was all there. Rather than spend all the money I had on plastics and controls, I mounted dirtbike handlebars on and bought a used tail. The tail piece is sprayed with a rattle can and would look great with an experienced painter using a real spray gun. The motor is completely stock with a stock exhaust. That equals reliability! The brakes, tires, and drive system are all in good shape and will easily get through another season of riding. The only performance mod would be a stainless steel rear brake line. The rear directionals are easy to unbolt along with the license plate. A shop manual is included with the sale.
Here's the bad: Spray painted tail. Shallow dent in the tank. No front fender. No mirrors.
Here's the good: CLEAN NY TITLE!!!! Tires, brakes, gauges, motor, suspension, cables, lines, ect.
This was the last year they made the F3. It's a real fun bike and runs awesome. I have a video of it being started, revved and running if you would like to see it. Please email me at andrew3campbell@yahoo.com to request the video link or further pics.
I reserve the right to end this ad early due to a local sale. There is no warrenty available. I have a clean title and bill of sale for the new owner. I would prefer local pick up here in Rochester, NY 14607. If the buyer would like to arrange shipping, then I will gladly help. Thanks!

No trades please. The price is still $2500/obo. Good solid bike... just missing the plastics.

I live in downtown Rochester, but the bike is stored at my work which is located right near Kodak offices. PM me if you like to take a look at the bike! Thanks.

I still have the bike. However, I put it in storage for the winter. I travel a lot for business and don't have time to show it to dead beats who just want to talk bikes and don't have two pennies to rub together.
I'm not implying that you, "freiertpc" are a dead beat, but I had to deal with a few of those while trying to sell the bike and I lost interest in trying to get rid of it. So now it's in storage for the winter and will be available to purchase again in the spring. Thanks for checking.
